The Role :

Key responsibilities :
Map out detailed requirements (specifically for but not limited to legacy data mapping and integrations).
Work with architects, engineering leads, product managers and technical program managers.
Help shape how it will be delivered across phasing, critical paths, dependencies
Translate business needs into scope and work breakdown structures.
Where relevant, map out as-is and to-be processes and introduce / dust off documentation e.g. user guides.
Collaborate across organisations i.e. Salesforce as new cloud solution partner as well as M&S.
Understand high-level technical strategies and break down into actionable tasks. Write effective user stories that are clear and concise for Engineering and QA teams.
Perform Gap Analysis between As-is process / systems and intended target process and systems
Define the processes for end user teams to transition into the new systems. Ability to create training documentation.
Facilitate business process modelling workshops and can produce detailed process maps.
Define necessary acceptance criteria and support testing of backlogs / initiatives to meet agreed acceptance criteria and document any fixes or changes to scope required in consultation with Engineering and Product teams.
Gathering requirements through collaboration with Business, define requirements / backlog items with the team, and help to facilitate proof of concept for new technologies
Suggest best practices and be vocal in providing ideas.
Key skills / knowledge / experience :
10 or more Years in Business Analyst role in Information Technology services.
Proven experience working in agile, product-centric and traditional programme environments
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and provide innovative solutions
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Proficiency in using agile tools such as Jira for task management and tracking
Lead UAT or equivalent processes to clearly communicate a set of functional / non- functional requirements & expectations to internal & external stake holders.
Ability to review as-is process and data attributes in great details.
Partner with business and users to understand and refine business requirements. Determines related impact analysis.
Functional knowledge of Retail or Banking Domain systems.
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and demonstrate experience articulating issues / concerns / solutions.
Able to work independently, schedule time efficiently and set priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent Business Stakeholder and Supplier management skills
Build and foster professional relationships. Expected to work alongside associates from other departments when executing daily responsibilities and as a contributor to cross-functional projects
Strong track record of strategic and innovative thinking, applying industry practices, tools.
Knowledge and an understanding of Structured processes, data interchange between systems and general application integration experience
Experience working within an Agile DevOps environment such as scrum or Kanban.
Good to have :
Experience in Retail and customer-facing delivery
Experience in Loyalty or Financial Services related to Banking, B2B Banking
