Are you an experienced Multi Skilled Operator? Do you consider yourself to be detail orientated and an asset to a busy team? Are you based in or around Llanwern?

We have a 6 month temporary position role available with TATA Steel. This role is ideal for someone with Machine operating skills and is familiar with roll forming machinery.

Llanwern Works, situated east of Newport in South Wales, manufactures strip steel for both UK and European markets using its pickle line and cold mill. The site also offers galvanised coating through its ZODIAC line.

Role : Multi Skilled Operator

Location : Llanwern, NP19 4QZ

Rate : £12.64 Per Hour (24,000 PA)

Contract length : 6 Months - potential for a permanent position upon completion

Shift Patterns : Monday - Thursday : 6am - 2pm. Fridays 6am-1pm

Responsibilities :

• Operate processing machinery and material handling equipment in a safe and productive manner.
• Recognize product ranges for accurate material selection.
• Understand basic maintenance and continuous improvement techniques.
• Handle materials, checking stock, labeling, and storing as per requirements.
• Contribute to personal and team development, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
