Project Manager – Highways / Infrastructure

Salary : 55000 - 65000

Location : North West

Regions : Manchester, North West

We are currently seeking a Project Manager to work for a main Civil Contractor who specializes in a variety of Civil / Highway engineering sectors with a primary focus on infrastructure-based projects. The role will be based in Manchester, with the candidate expected to travel intermittently to various project sites when required.

As a Project Manager, your key responsibilities include :

• Having Airport / Civil / Highway infrastructure experience working for a main contractor.
• Providing direction, motivation, and leadership to both internal staff and external consultants or contractors engaged in providing technical support activities to the project.
• Overseeing the successful delivery of projects to scope, target cost, quality, programme, and completion encompassing design, engineering, construction, handover, and commercial aspects ensuring perfect delivery is achieved.
• Implementing a full risk and value engineering management process where all risks and cost savings opportunities are identified and actioned.
• Ensuring efficient management of the Company’s resources; employees, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Airside passes would be advantageous.
