Role SummaryAs a Chef at Clarence House Hotel, youll be part of a close-knit kitchen team responsible for preparing and serving classic, home-style meals that keep our guests coming back. Youll help deliver breakfast, lunch, and evening service, ensuring food quality, hygiene, and customer satisfaction remain top priorities.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and cook meals in line with the hotels set menus and service standardsEnsure dishes are presented to a high standard, consistently and efficientlySupport with menu development, seasonal offerings, and daily specialsMaintain a clean and safe kitchen environment at all timesAssist with stock control, ordering, and waste reductionFollow and enforce all food safety, hygiene, and allergen proceduresWork collaboratively with the Head Chef and wider hotel team to ensure smooth serviceRequirementsNVQ Level 2 in Professional Cookery (minimum); Level 3 preferredValid Food Safety Awareness Certification (Level 2 or above)Valid Food Allergy Awareness Certification or equivalent trainingPrevious experience in a busy kitchen, hotel, or similar catering environmentStrong understanding of food hygiene, allergens, and kitchen best practicesAbility to work efficiently under pressure and as part of a teamExcellent time management and organisational skillsFlexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and peak seasonsWhat We OfferCompetitive salary, based on experienceSupportive and welcoming team cultureFree staff meals during shiftsStaff discounts across hotel servicesBeautiful coastal location in Tenby
