M&E Planner

Construction Planner – London - £75,000 - £90,000 & TravelWe are currently recruiting for a M&E Planner for a specialist mechanical and electrical contractor in the city. This is a permanent role where the selected candidate will be working on packages across apartments, offices, commercial sectors. My client has been established for over 50 years and has multiple long term framework agreements and a full order book of work for at least the next 2 years.M&E Planner Role : Involvement with Site Team in all aspects of project planning, programming and progress monitoring, including information flow, procurement, and site worksTo liaise with the Client, contractors, suppliers, and designers on all matters relating to planning and attend and contribute to site meetings and other associated meetingsAssist in the management of change in regards to impact on programmes and progressProvide the planning service on tenders and projectsAttend pre-contract meetings to explain the planning aspects of the contractMonitor and prepare a progress report on the project programmeMaintain look ahead programmes and advise on implications to both Client & Project TeamConsider and discuss alternatives with the Project Manager.Implement Company proceduresAppraise, co-ordinate and integrate subcontract and design programmesMaintain the as-built programmeRequirements : 5+ years experience in a Planner roleProficient in either ASTA / Primavera / P6Confidence to oversee several project simultaneouslyM&E Packages from £5M - £30M Interviews are available this week and a start can be suited as soon as it suits both parties
