We’re looking for

full time, permanent Site Operative to join our team in Gotham, NG11, working on our site where we partner British Gypsum. You'll be working a minimum of 40 hours per week on the Late shift : Monday -Thurs 14 : 00 – 22 : 00, Fri 14 : 00 – 00 : 00

What you’ll do on a typical day :

• To mangage HGV movements on site ensuring that they are completed to Company, customer and legislative requirements. To ensure that drivers are compliant whilst on site and are adhering to rules.

Managing Vehicle wash and fuel tank

To assist the management team in ensuring that the onsite load securing teams are compliant with load securing and housekeeping.

To carry out minor repairs to vehicles, this will require some addtional training which will be provided.

To always work with the BG and XPO operational team to deliver LEAN and continuous improvements to provide the best in class solution to the internal vehicle and loading bay site process.

Support warehouse operation as and when required (including but not limited to loading and unloading vehicles, putaway, chaperoning, shunting (upon completing training)

Covering gatehouse operation when required with degree of flexibility required
