Job description

About the Role

As Head of Supply Chain and Systems, you'll lead the charge in overseeing the Glasgow Industrial Planning and Procurement functions, along with driving process governance. Additionally, you'll serve as the primary lead for manufacturing system implementation, maintenance, and development at our site. Your responsibilities will encompass meticulously planning materials and production resources to meet site requirements, as well as coordinating and ensuring accountability for the Glasgow S&OP supply plan. You'll also be instrumental in implementing and governing effective best practice MRP 2, while championing professional development and process enhancement.

  • Experience and Skills :

We're seeking an individual with expert knowledge of MRP2 practices, coupled with outstanding stakeholder management skills. Your ability to navigate complex industrial activities and projects will be paramount. The ideal candidate will possess the unique capability to translate strategic business visions into tangible logistics and supply chain capabilities, both domestically and worldwide. Experience in Supply Chain and Planning transformation projects is highly desirable, with an emphasis on delivering a seamless holistic approach without disruption.

Proven experience in managing and implementing ERP systems within a planning or procurement environment is essential. Additionally, proficiency in supporting agile planning mechanisms within complex major industrialization projects is a significant asset. Candidates with APICS or equivalent certification, along with a degree-level qualification in Manufacturing Systems / logistics or Manufacturing / Engineering, will be given preference.
