Paddle UK is the Governing Body for Paddlesports. We have had many advances in our sport and paddling now covers a wide range of interests and passions as a sport and a leisure activity for all. We want to support and provide opportunities for everyone to enjoy and realise their potential within all aspects of paddling regardless of their age, background or ability.

Salary : £37,000 to £39,000 per annum

Working Pattern : Full time, 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Closing Date : 15th August

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive team to drive a safer, more inclusive culture. The Safeguarding Manager will have a wide remit to lead safeguarding development and embedding throughout the organisation, overseeing and guiding the efficient and effective case management of safeguarding and disclosure checks and developing and maintaining up to date and robust safeguarding policies, procedures, resources and guidance.

The successful candidate will have extensive safeguarding experience and be able to demonstrate a child centred approach. You should be able to work as part of a team, be able to relate well, empathise and communicate with a wide range of people and drive and inspire change at all levels of the organisation.
