Aluminium Welder / Fabricator

Due to continued growth permanent positions have become available for experienced aluminium welders to join a growing busy manufacturing / Engineering company based near Peterborough.

Responsibilities :

Ali welding

Setup and layout jobs using engineering drawings diagrams and fixtures.

Carrying out welding operations in accordance with appropriate welding procedure specification.

Use of grinders / sanders and general hand tools

Requirement to do other fabrication work and associated tasks as required.

Person Specification :

• Experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Competent in reading and understanding engineering drawings
• Able to use various hand tools whilst adhering to H&S procedures
• Attention to detail
• Good team player with ability to communicate well with others
• Organised and able to prioritise workload to ensure products can be dispatched on time

Hours and Pay :

• Monday Friday (Days)
• Up to 16 / hour DOE
• Overtime available
