We are seeking a talented teacher to deliver English and maths. This role sits within our dynamic English and maths department, a vibrant and successful team who have a strong track record in the successful delivery of functional skills and GCSE qualifications who have a passion for engaging young learners in the development of their skills.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in nurturing young minds and inspiring them to grow and improve in their basic core skills. We are looking for someone that is dedicated and enthusiastic about learning. Someone who has a passion for shaping the future of our next generation of problem solvers.

In this rewarding role, you will support the development of learners’ English and maths skills helping them to be ‘work ready’ through effective teaching and learning. You will plan and deliver sessions covering key aspects of the qualification, preparing them for exams. This will involve working with a diverse range of learners from various curriculum backgrounds, liaising closely with colleagues to share best practice, monitoring student progress, and communicate effectively across the curriculum area. You will also work in partnership with our amazing curriculum teams to support the embedding of vocational English and maths in their vocational lessons.
