- A range of local discountsKey Responsibilities : As a Deputy Manager, you will be responsible for :
- Implementing the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum and ensuring high standards of care.
- Providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for children aged birth to 5 years.
- Leading and supporting staff through team meetings and supervision.
- Leading the nursery in the absence of the manager, ensuring smooth daily operations.
- Overseeing the planning and delivery of age-appropriate activities to support holistic development.
- Building strong relationships with children, parents, and fellow team members.The ideal candidate;
- Holds a minimum NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Childcare and Education.
- Has at least three years' experience working in a childcare setting, with two years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of the EYFS framework and relevant childcare legislation.
- Possesses strong self-motivation and the ability to take initiative in a leadership capacity.Desirable Qualifications :
- Level 5 or above in Leadership and Management in Early Years.
- Experience with Ofsted inspections, achieving Good or Outstanding ratings.
