Job Title : Higher Level Teaching Assistant

Leader Education are recruiting a dedicated Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join the Early Years team at a Primary School located in South Tyneside.

This vibrant primary school is dedicated to creating a positive, safe, and welcoming environment for all students, staff and visitors.

Their vision emphasises fostering a supportive and inclusive atmosphere where everyone can thrive.

The normal working pattern is Monday-Friday 8 : 30am until 4pm and is a long-term position.

The successful candidate will :

• Have a fully enhanced DBS on the update service or a willingness to obtain one.
• HLTA qualification
• Previous experience working in a similar role within an educational setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Follow personalised curriculum's and care plans to meet pupil's requirements.
• Work with pupils on both a 1 : 1 basis and in group settings, communicating effectively.
• Participate in the planning and implementation of the curriculum through lesson planning and delivery.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists and other teams to create a holistic supportive environment for pupils.
