CPM have a rare and exciting opportunity to join the team as an Area Sales Manager. You will be working with leading FMCG brands and managing a team of tactical agents on our Flex Team. Salary £30,000 +10% bonus and company car. This is a Fixed Term position until March 2025.
Remote working with travel offered.
Ideal location : Leeds, United Kingdom, LS1
Territory covering : Leeds, Lancaster, Darlington, Teeside, York, Harrogate, Bradford, Blackburn, Preston, Blackpool, Liverpool, Wigan, Warrington, Bolton, Halifax, Oldham and surrounding areas
CPM partner with some of the biggest household brands and your team will be working across these accounts calling into selected retailers to increase sales and visibility of our client’s products.

- Have experience in remotely managing a large team of short-term / flexible workers to succeed as a team and deliver against key performance and compliance targets.
- Have demonstrated ability to use your initiative to shape your team’s strategy to continuously improve & innovate to deliver the best results.
- Have a passion for nurturing and developing your team.
- Are unfazed by difficult situations or the need to face into challenging conversations.
- Are open to coaching and training, you might have years of management experience, but to develop you’ll need to be open to learning and applying new or different techniques.
- Can build strong, long-lasting relations with your team and wider stakeholders within the business.
- Are a strong communicator and have excellent organisation and planning skills.
A Typical week as an Area Manager will include :
Ensuring you team are delivering against all KPI’s for the multiple campaigns running at any given time.Ensuring you have enough resource to deliver each campaign, supporting the recruitment team with local recruitmentCoaching and developing your team via field accompaniments, providing support and guidance to improve performanceBuilding and retaining a trusted bank of temporary workers within your region who you can rely on, giving you access to flexible resource to manage any sickness and holidaysBuilding great working relationships across the wider team including Client Service, Operations, HR and any other appropriate support departmentsLooking constantly at how things can be improved to drive efficienciesWhat we offer :
30k per annum+ company car +10% bonus5 days a week, days to be worked between Monday -Saturday, hours to be worked between 8am and 8pm (some weekend working is expected you will receive days off in lieu when this happens)Access to award winning sales training.
