• Running weekly payroll and handling monthly returns
• Managing deposits and making sure all is reconciled and accounted for
• Posting and reconciling multiple bank accounts
• Processing sales and purchase invoices
• Keeping aged debtor reports up to date and sending out statements on time
• Following up on outstanding payments and sorting out any issues with clients
• Handling VAT returns — from reconciling to submitting
• Preparing clear reports comparing actual results to budgets
• Posting journals and reconciling balance sheets at month-end
• Assisting with the year-end audit processWhat we are looking for :
• The right candidate will come from industry accounts
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, Excel and Word.
• Experience using Sage50
• Fully qualified or part-qualified (finalist level) accountant with relevant technical knowledge.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
