Dimensional Quality Inspector

Walsall

Permanent

16 20 per hour

Overview

EMBS Engineering is currently recruiting for a Dimensional Quality Inspector to join a precision engineering company based in Walsall working on a permanent basis .

Key Benefits on Offer :

  • Days (Monday to Thursday : 8 : 00am 4 : 30pm / Friday : 8 : 00am 1 : 30pm)

Your responsibilities will include :

  • Inspecting parts and assemblies to ensure they meet dimensional specifications
  • Conducting inspections using Faro / Romer arms and manual measuring equipment
  • Reviewing and interpreting engineering drawings (both metric and imperial)
  • Performing inspections on welds and fabrication subassemblies
  • Utilising NDT methods such as Visual Dye Penetrant Ultrasonic Testing (UT) Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) and Xray (onsite)
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant standards and specifications

    • What experience do you need

  • Strong Quality Inspection experience
  • Knowledge of using Faro / Romer arms
  • Experience with manual measuring equipment
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings
  • Previous experience inspecting welds and fabrication subassemblies
  • NDT Inspection knowledge would be advantageous (Visual Dye Penetrant UT MPI Xray)
