Are you a patient, nurturing and enthusiastic individual with a passion for supporting pupils with additional learning needs? Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a specialist provision in Goole to recruit a Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) .
The Role :
Supporting pupils with MLD across Key Stages 2 – 4
Working on a 1 : 1 basis and in small groups
Assisting with tailored learning programmes to help meet individual needs
Encouraging engagement and building positive relationships with pupils
Collaborating with class teachers and SENCO to ensure effective support strategies
The Ideal Candidate Will Have :
Experience supporting pupils with special educational needs (SEN), particularly MLD
A calm, patient and resilient approach
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A willingness to be flexible and adapt to the needs of individual learners
A valid DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one)
