Facilities / Maintenance Technician

This is a full-time role, working 37 hours per week.

You will work a variety of shifts, between the hours of 7.30am and 9.30pm, with occasional working until 10.00pm required. This role could be based at any of our campuses in Weston-super-Mare.

Due to the shift work nature of this role, you will receive a shift allowance of £1,000 per annum.

This role involves a high level of physical activity, and some working outdoors.

After successful completion of specific role-related training, there may be opportunities for further salary increments, above the salary stated on the job description.

Day to day duties of the role

• To support the safety and security of the College premises, vehicles and contents.
• As instructed, to ensure that the premises are properly maintained, and all lighting and heating systems and equipment are functioning. To undertake minor repairs and decorations as requested.
• To receive deliveries of goods made to the premises and convey such items to other parts of the premises.
• To set the alarm system and secure the building and campuses at the end of the College day.
