Hours : 40 hours per week, with some flexible evening or weekend hours (Permanent Full Time Role)

Location : UniQ Studios, South-East London

UniQ Studios have a vacancy for an experienced and diligent Studio Manager with relevant experience with studio / venue space hire and in the commercial photography and video production industry. The primary responsibly of this versatile role is to oversee and manage all day-to-day activities and processes related to efficient running of the studio, and to deal with client enquiries to ensure sales targets for our space hire department are met. You will oversee the studio hire team and ensure spaces are always set up and well presented for bookings, and perform ad-hoc tasks studio management tasks.

The person appointed will be a confident written and verbal communicator and have a strong passion for sales and marketing. You should be able to work fast and efficiently while maintaining a high-quality standard, and must have good attention to detail, strong work ethic and willingness to learn / develop.

You should have good people skills, maintain the highest level of customer service, and will work with other members of staff to deliver marketing goals and solidify customer relations.

Main tasks and responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

Core duties

  • Oversee processes and all day-to-day running tasks of our studios and location spaces
  • Identify new opportunities and contribute to client acquisition and business development strategy.
  • Implementation of general business development and marketing strategies
  • Coordinate the sales process from inception to contract finalisation
  • Telephone or Meeting consultations with prospective and existing clients
  • Up-sell services and conduct Rates Negotiations with prospective and existing clients
  • Manage set up and take down of studio / lighting setup
  • Manage general studio upkeep and tidy up
  • Assist with and manage Studio hire and event space bookings
  • Client relationship and retention management
  • Studio hire booking software updates and management
  • Create and review client quotes / proposals and ensure all chargeable works are invoiced promptly and accurately
  • Create sales reports on our CRM and assist with accounts preparation
  • Reconcile payments and confirm invoice payments with senior management
  • Organise promotional activities for new & existing product / services
  • Attend Trade Shows and networking events

Other duties

  • Track SEO, AdWords and email campaigns, and analyse statistics to evaluate performance
  • Collaborate with creative director to produce marketing material including print, web and video content
  • Assist with sales reports and accounts preparation
  • Content writing (blog, web content and business literature)
  • Social media management
  • Assists with operations and business management tasks
  • Job Requirements : Essential

  • Some experience working for a studio hire or space hire Company
  • Full Drivers licence and car
  • Be sales and target orientated with a strong commercial awareness
  • Passion for providing the highest level of customer service to new, and existing clients.
  • Must be detail oriented, diligent and very well organised
  • Comfortable working with numbers
  • Professional demeanour with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to organise and prioritise workload, multi-task using effective time management skills
  • Experience in photography and video production
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and adaptable to change in a fast-paced work environment
  • Must have a strong work ethic and willingness to meet deadlines (no 9 to 5 mentality)
  • Ability to take initiative and work calmly under pressure
  • Strong photography and video production kit / equipment and power distribution knowledge
  • Must be willing to work flexible shifts on weekends and evenings as required to oversee bookings
  • Desirables

  • Working knowledge of SEO and Adwords would be an advantage
