Our team is passionate, innovative, and focused on making a real difference in the lives of our students.Job Description : We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Interventions Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting children across Key Stage 1 who require additional academic assistance. You will work closely with teachers, support staff, and parents to design and deliver targeted interventions that promote students' academic progress and overall well-being.Key Responsibilities :
- Design, implement, and evaluate targeted intervention programs for students with identified needs.
- Work closely with class teachers to identify students requiring additional support.
- Provide one-to-one and small group teaching to reinforce key concepts in literacy and numeracy.
- Monitor and track the progress of students receiving interventions, adjusting support where necessary.
- Collaborate with SENCO and other staff members to ensure that interventions are tailored to each child’s specific learning needs.
- Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging confidence, self-esteem, and a love of learning.
- Communicate regularly with parents and carers about student progress, providing feedback and suggestions for home support.
- Contribute to the school’s overall academic development and participate in school-wide initiatives.The Ideal Candidate Will Have :
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience working with primary-aged children, particularly in a role supporting academic interventions.
- A solid understanding of strategies to support children with a range of learning needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their best.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a diverse range of tasks.
