Purchasing Assistant, West Hull, £24,750 + bonus + other benefitsArlington Moore is working on behalf of a successful company who have an exciting opportunity for a purchasing Assistant. The role will see you gain exposure to the full supply chain with mentoring and training to achieve CIPS professional qualification.Working within the supply chain team the Purchasing Assistant will be responsible for.

• Order Administration – Placing & management of purchase orders, non-conformances and keeping electronic records to ensure the smooth running of the supply chain department.
• Supplier Liaison – Expediting orders, chasing late deliveries and order acknowledgements.
• Supplier Analysis – Providing analysis of data to include delivery, quality, forecasts and tendering exercises.
• Supply Chain Support – providing support for the wider supply chain team to include initial part set-upWhat qualities would benefit this purchasing position : Previous experience in a purchasing role is not essential but would be beneficial. This role would either suit somebody who is currently purchasing and looking to progress or new to purchasing, but has done a little as part of their role.
• A high level of computer literacy with attention to detail
