Reed.co.ukCranleigh, SurreyAR506 – Mobile Plant Engineer Location : Cranleigh Salary : £35,000 - £40,000 Overview : First Military Recruitment are currently supporting a client in the search for a Mobile Plant Engineer.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plant repair and maintenance, as well as the ability to diagnose and repair a variety of mechanical problems. The successful candidate will also have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team and have the ability to troubleshoot complex issues quickly and accurately. A welding qualification is preferred.Our client strongly encourages applications from ex-military personnel however, all candidates will be considered. Duties and Responsibilities :
- Diagnose & repair mechanical problems on diesel powered plant and vehicles.
- Perform routine maintenance and servicing.
- Complete weld repairs.
- Test parts and systems to ensure they are working properly.
- Use diagnostic tools.
- Explain mechanical problems and needed repairs to customers in a clear and concise manner.
- Keep records of work performed.
