Job description

Following a period of successful business growth, a North West based Planning and Environmental consultancy are seeking to increase their team based in Cheshire.

Your day will involve working on a variety of projects, supporting colleagues on projects, providing advice to clients, drafting reports and planning submissions such as site assessments, policy notes, applications, development plan representations, and Environmental Statements, and assisting with the management of the team’s caseload.

Additionally, other key tasks include :

  • Research and analysis
  • Liaising with planning officers, third parties and other professionals in the industry
  • Liaising with clients, colleagues and fellow professionals and building good relationship
  • Developing creative and original solutions
  • Leading smaller projects through to completion
  • Staying up to date on the latest planning updates
  • Attending networking events

The person in this role should be a problem solver, with creative thinking and excellent communication skills and have a genuine interest in Planning and Environmental issues.
