This is a remote position.

We are seeking detail-oriented Freelance Transcriptionists . As a transcriptionist, you will be responsible for converting audio files into accurate written text while adhering to provided guidelines. This role is perfect for self-motivated individuals who thrive in flexible work environments and are looking for freelance opportunities.

This is a 100% remote position (TELECOMMUTE), allowing you to work from anywhere with an internet connection.

Job Responsibilities :

Listen to audio recordings and transcribe them into written text with precision.
Proofread and edit transcriptions to ensure accuracy and quality.
Follow specific formatting guidelines provided for each project.
Manage time effectively to meet project deadlines.
Communicate with the team in case of unclear audio or queries regarding transcription requirements.

Requirements

Qualifications and Skills :

Strong command of the English language, including grammar, spelling, and punctuation.

Exceptional listening skills and the ability to interpret various accents and dialects.

Typing speed of at least 50 words per minute.

Proficiency with transcription tools or willingness to learn.

Basic technical skills for managing audio files and using word processing software.

Education and Experience Requirements :

High school diploma or equivalent (required).

Prior experience in transcription (preferred but not mandatory).

Working Hours :

Flexible working hours : You can work at your convenience and choose assignments that suit your schedule.

Deadlines for assignments will be specified when projects are assigned.
