I’m working closely with a global manufacturing company that is experience substantial growth in their production department, they’re looking for 2 technical operators to cover their weekend day shift, this will be permanent 12hr days on weekends with two flexible days in the week.

They offer great training and development with the option of upskilling and gaining qualifications funded by the company, along with a great benefits package.

The ideal candidates will need some experience operating a production line with technical knowledge of mechanical components, technical line operators have the responsibility of any miner machine breakdowns, a qualification in engineering is essential.

Role & Responsibilities :

Perform basic repairs on your area / line in a breakdown.
Analyse the root cause to prevent it happening again.
Develop and implement Line Improvements.
Work as part of the operating team under direction of Team Leader for line operation and under the direction of Shift Senior Craft for Engineering related activities.
Follow rigorous Safety, Quality, Food Hygiene and Environmental standards at all times.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience :

Able to perform a dynamic risk assessment of work areas and maintain safe working practices at all times.

Experienced in the use of handle tools to perform mechanical maintenance activities.

Experience of working within a mechanical maintenance environment, in small teams.

Some basic Engineering skills at home or at work.

Ideally NVQ Level 2 or 3 or can demonstrate mechanical experience from skills gained in work history.
