CDL SoftwareNorth West UK -We are seeking an experienced and visionary Head of Product to lead our product management team and drive the development and execution of our software product strategy.
Sector : Insurance & Finance Specialisation : AI, Data, Software Reports To : Chief Product Officer Location : Stockport (Hybrid, 2 days a week)
As Head of Product, you will be responsible for delivering the product vision, roadmap, and lifecycle, driving the strategy, development, and success of our AI, data, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative and user-centric software products that exceed market expectations.
The role would holistically oversee the product portfolio, which will include multiple products at different stages of their lifecycles. They will contribute to and implement CDL’s product strategy decisions about product launches, investments, and potential integrations. They will also contribution to the financial success of CDL’s product portfolio.This role will Represent the Product Manager function at the Senior Management Team (SMT) and provide a clear line of sight through all tiers of CDL.

Your expertise will be vital in driving change, expanding our market presence, and forging valuable partnerships that resonate with our long-term goals. In the realm of product management, you will craft a vision for product development, aligning product roadmaps with market demands and ensuring our offerings exceed customer expectations.You’ll oversee the strategic planning process, allocate resources effectively, and proactively address potential roadblocks. Your guidance will be the compass that steers CDL from the drawing board to market success, embodying our strategic ambitions and fostering enduring growth and market leadership. Your role in product strategy will be to champion innovation, guiding CDL's product development from ideation to launch, and ensuring our products not only meet the current market trends but also set new benchmarks for quality and innovation.

Key Responsibilities
This role will operate CDL’s prioritisation system translating the vision into a set of processes that work with all counterparts on the SMT, e.g.,
o Consistent implementation across CDL and use of the Ops Model
o Contribute to effective delivery working closely with Software Engineering
o Define how ideas / initiatives are raised both within CDL and from the clients
Data-driven Decision Making to analyse product performance data to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions about product features and future development.
