We are looking for a newly or recently qualified Clinical Psychologist that we can develop and nurture into a confident practitioner in Clinical

Health and Neuropsychology! The successful candidate will get the chance to gain expertise across a wide range of health conditions and neurological presentations, including functional neurological disorders.

with clients in acute hospital settings, familiarity of psychological assessment and formulation in health care, as well as planning and delivering neuropsychological interventions would be an advantage.

The post is based at The Old Chapel within a friendly and well-established Department of Psychological Medicine, but may involve travel to sites across the organisation. Our department has an ongoing commitment to flexible and hybrid working, so this post will include some home working.

Main duties of the job

The role will include direct clinical work - providing individual input to patients alongside providing advice and consultation to MDT colleagues, as

well as contributing to research, teaching and other duties as the post requires.

As a member of the department, you will be able to contribute to significant changes to the way that we deliver psychological care across our

service, including the development of training for staff working in our wider MDT's, as well as the delivery of group programmes for patients.

  • A generous relocation package of up to 30% of salary (capped at £18k) to support with relocation expenses for hard to fill positions where relocation would be an expectation to undertake the role fully. If you would like to discuss a potential relocation package, please speak to the recruiting department / manager at interview stage
  • A variety of different types of paid and unpaid leave covering emergency and planned leave
  • Confidential advice and support on personal, work, family and relationship issues, 24 / 7, from our Employee Assistance Programme
  • NHS Car Lease scheme and Cycle to Work scheme
  • An extensive range of learning and development opportunities
  • Discounts on restaurants, getaways, shopping, motoring, cinema and finance from a range of providers
