Graphic Design AssistantPertemps are currently looking for a Graphic Design Assistant to join our client’s talented team for a 4 week period, on-site project at their well-equipped studio in Nantwich, Cheshire (just a five-minute walk from the town centre). You’ll be part of a friendly, collaborative production team, helping them deliver high-quality, accessible PDF documents that meet industry standards.Main responsibilities for this Graphic Design Assistant role : Creating accessible PDFs in line with current accessibility guidelinesEnsuring correct structure (tags, links, alt text, reading order, etc.) for screen reader compatibilityTypesetting content in Adobe InDesign and exporting tagged PDFsWorking closely with editors and proofreaders to meet client and internal accessibility standardsFollowing brand and style guidelines to maintain consistency and qualityManaging your workload to meet tight deadlines without compromising on detailSupporting the wider team with additional tasks as neededSkills required for this Graphic Design Assistant role : Solid experience with Adobe InDesign and Acrobat ProProficiency in Microsoft Word and ExcelA degree in Graphic Design (or related field) or equivalent hands-on experienceExcellent attention to detail and a strong sense of layout and structureThe ability to stay calm under pressure and meet tight deadlinesA positive, collaborative attitude—team spirit is key!Details of this Graphic Design Assistant role : Free on-site parkingHours of work : Monday to Friday 9am – 5pmGreat experience in a busy, creative studio setting£12.50ph-£13.00ph DOETemp position : 4 weeksIf you are interested in this position, please apply within.
