Great opportunity for growth, development, and progression whilst taking products from recipe stage to finished article on supermarket shelves.
As Process Technologist reporting into the Process Manager for a food manufacturing business you’ll manage product launches.
My client has a proud history of developing food for their customers and consumers which is enjoyed in millions of homes every year. They’re portfolio includes a fabulous range of products which are available in all of the country’s supermarkets.
This role will suit a Process, Technical, Operations, or Engineering professional who has UK food process manufacturing experience. This is a great opportunity to expand your knowledge in the Process function where you’ll work with a great team, great products, and in a great environment.
Day-to-day you’ll be supporting the team to deliver projects ready for launch. You’ll be involved in all aspects of process from ordering materials and packaging to arranging and attending factory trials and pre-production runs. Your attention to detail and organising skills are key here to ensuring that all data is successfully collated and reported. You’ll then be arranging shelf-life analysis, nutritional and microbiological testing, and completing artwork checks on the finished products.
To qualify for consideration, you’ll need a minimum of 12-months work experience in UK food manufacturing with a good working knowledge of concept to launch protocols and Food Manufacturing practices. You’ll have sound project management skills and good IT skills.
It’s a Monday-Friday day role based on site.
If you have an interest in product development, food manufacturing, and love everything about the creative process then apply today with your CV or contact myself (Neal) directly to discuss further.
