Job Description
Defour Partnership is working closely with an award winning National Social Care Charity recruiting for a Payroll Team Leader to join the Payroll Team on a 12 month Fixed term basis.
If you are looking for the challenge of working in a fast paced, high volume Payroll Department this is the role for you. As Payroll Team Leader you will guide a small team through the day to day payroll processes. You'll contribute to the achievement of the charity's ambitious growth strategy, and you'll work with the Payroll Manager on all TUPE transfers to ensure a seamless transition for all colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring the day to day processes are completed accurately and on time.
- Complete monthly payroll checking and reconciliation.
- Responding to escalated queries.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of the Payroll function through building relationships with key stakeholders .
- Lead on TUPE process in conjunction with the Payroll Manager.
- Leading the development of the Payroll Officers through their career pathway.
Benefits
Flexibility! You can work your full time hours over 4 days and enjoy a long weekend, or work over 5 days to accommodate your other commitments. The role will require travel to their regional head office based in Widnes otherwise you can work remotely or from home.
