Since April 2017 non-household customers in England now have the option to change their water and sewerage retailer in the same way as customers can do for gas and electricity. As a Settlement Analyst working in the Wholesale Market Services team within Yorkshire Water Non-Household Wholesale you will be responsible for the effective billing and collection of non-household wholesale revenue. This is a great opportunity to be involved in a pioneering part of the water industry and to contribute to excellent wholesale performance in the market.
As our Settlement Analyst you will be responsible for a wide range of processes, including
Creating & validating Non-Household (NHH) billsManaging NHH billing & cash queriesCollecting NHH cash & allocating paymentsWorking effectively with a range of external and internal stakeholdersManaging NHH credit arrangementsNHH billing data analysis & reportingReconciling NHH industry data to ensure accurate billing & cash flow
What skills and qualifications you will need?
It would be advantageous to have experience of billing and cash collection;You will have excellent written and numeracy skills;You will have experience of using Microsoft Excel for data reporting & analysis;You will have the ability to communicate effectively and build effective working relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders is essential.
