Job Title : Site Manager Start Date : Immediately Location : Ramsgate Day Rate : £250 - £275 per day depending on experience Project :  Scheme comprises of construction of four-storey building consisting of 20 two bedroomed apartments with associated parking and four retail units. Associated works include sewer systems, landscaping, cable laying, infrastructure, enabling works and access roadsI am looking for a number 1 Site Manager who can oversee the construction from out the ground and handover to the Client. Responsibilities :  Ensuring compliance on site at all times to the company health and safety standards and processesCo-ordinating labour and resources on site to deliver the build programmeManage material levels on site to ensure the minimum amount of stock but enough to ensure the site programme is met and all labour is efficiently employed.Undertaking company directed quality control procedures and inspections at the correct timings, and rectifying any defects so as not to incur additional cost, time delays to the programme, or reduction in the final quality.Showing a good behavioural example in all aspects of health and safety, organisation, conduct, quality of work, and professionalism.Overseeing Subcontractors and delivering tool box talks as well as weekly progress meetings Liaising with the client Reporting to a Visiting Contracts Manager Requirements : At least 5 years experience working as a number 1 Site Manager who can demonstrate a time when you have delivered a scheme from conception through to completion SMSTS, CSCS & First Aid NVQ Level 6 in Construction Management would be advantageous Working on a similar role in the past
