13 p / h, moving to £13.50 p / h after successful probationTEMP TO PERM POSITIONStaffing Match, a trusted provider of logistics and distribution solutions, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Machine Setter & Operator to join our team. This role involves ensuring the accurate setup and efficient operation of production lines to deliver high-quality results while adhering to specifications.Key Responsibilities as Machine Setter Operator : Setup and Preparation : Prepare production lines and components per specifications.
Adjust nozzles, capping machines, and labels to meet requirements.
Perform cleaning and changeovers efficiently.
Line Operation : Operate lines to meet or exceed speed targets.
Conduct quality checks and address issues promptly.
Handle components, shrink film, and label changes as needed.
Team Support and Training : Assist and train operatives, addressing skill gaps.
Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Quality and Safety Compliance : Ensure finished products meet specifications.Perform regular checks and address deviations.Technical Assistance : Support engineers and address minor production issues.
