Sales Manager – London – ConstructionLondon – West Hampstead£40,000 Plus 3% commission on Gross salesMy client is a leading company in manufacturing and installation of Microcement coverings for floors, walls and furniture.Their London Branch is now looking for a Sales Manager to join their team and focus on Business development in the London area.The RoleAs Sales Manager, you will need to be extremely well-networked across Construction sector with previous experience leading with Construction companies, developers such as with Architects, Designers and Constructions sector prescribers.They are looking for an enthusiastic individual with excellent communications skills, the ability to get on with people at all levels and influence them.Their business is focused on a full-service offer and we look for a professional able to manage a project from the first contact to the delivery of the job on site.Main Duties & Responsibilities :
- Drive new business opportunities, selling our services and products to new and existing customers and developing a robust pipeline of profitable business.
- Have a great attitude and willingness to learn, “cold calling” to generate new business
- Produce and agree measurable strategic objectives to deliver the growth and profitability plans.
- Identifying new methods and opportunities for sale campaigns.
- Drive professional representation in the market in a manner which is reflective of the company's values.
- Support tender responses which are bespoke to the client requirements.
- Establish effective working relationships with staff internally and potential clients to achieve optimum sales opportunities.
- Researching organisations and individuals online (especially on social media) to identify new leads and potential new markets
- Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings
- Developing quotes and proposals
- Manage project evolution at each step until delivery
- Training personnel and helping team members to develop their skillsKey Requirements :
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role in Construction sector in LONDON
- Construction Industry knowledge and B to B experience in London Construction sector
- London Construction market knowledge and main actors networked
- Service oriented person with ability to understand and go along with client and prescribers at each step of project process.
- High strategic thinker, with measured problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Strong communication skills and good presentation
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills
- Proactive attitude
- Flexibility to travel nationally if required
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritising to meet deadlines, managing busy workload and multi-tasking
- Attention to detail
- Excellent time management and organisation
- UK Driver License
- Other language is a plus
