Role Overview We are looking for an Enterprise Architect to join our fantastic IT department. The Enterprise Architect will be responsible for defining the architectural vision and strategy for the organisation, ensuring that all technology initiatives align with our business goals. The role will focus on creating a cohesive framework that integrates various systems and processes to improve operational efficiency and service delivery.

Key responsibilities :

The Enterprise Architect is responsible for defining the architectural vision and strategy for the organisation, ensuring that all technology initiatives align with our business goals. Their key responsibilities include :

• Architecture Strategy : Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture framework, including architecture principles, standards, and guidelines that support the organisation’s strategic objectives
• Roadmap Development : Create and maintain a technology roadmap that outlines the short- and long-term vision for IT investments and initiatives
• Stakeholder Engagement : Collaborate with senior management, department heads, and stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements
• Technology Evaluation : Assess and recommend new technologies, tools, and platforms that can enhance our services and operational capabilities
• System Integration : Design and oversee the integration of various IT systems and applications to ensure seamless data flow and interoperability
• Governance : Establish and enforce architecture governance processes to ensure compliance with best practices and regulatory requirements
• Performance Monitoring : Analyse and monitor the performance of existing systems and architectures, recommending improvements as needed
• Leadership : Lead and mentor IT staff in architectural practices and methodologies, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
• Documentation : Maintain comprehensive documentation of architecture models, processes, and standards
• External environment : Establish and maintain relationships across the housing sector and broader technology industry to help benchmark, leverage best practice and horizon scan
