WEST BERKSHIRE, 50 MILES FROM LONDON – LIVE-IN DOMESTIC COUPLE

HOUSEKEEPER / COOK ROLE, & ASSISTANT GARDENER / HANDMAN / ESTATE MANAGER SUPPORT ROLE

IDEALLY 5 DAYS PER WEEK, WEEKEND WORK NEGOTIABLE

Enthusiastic, accomplished Domestic Couple wanted for a circa 160-acre Georgian family home estate with landscaped gardens and adjoining working farm.

Must have a proactive, can-do attitude, willing to integrate and work alongside a small, long-standing team in the house, garden, and farm.

Housekeeping role for 6-bedroom, 8-bathroom home, with some wholesome and healthy food preparation. Scope for some outdoor work in the gardens etc, if this wider remit is something of interest.

For the Assistant Gardener / Handyman / Estate Manager support, this would suit someone who is looking for an outdoors-based role working on the estate supporting the Farm Manager and the Head Gardener, although there is scope for some indoor work, working alongside the current Estate Manager who organises multiple maintenance contracts, and maintains a gym, an indoor swimming pool, plus preparation of fire logs, car, and window cleaning.

Must preferably be English speaking, trustworthy, reliable, non-smokers, with driving licence(s). Excellent references essential and will be taken up prior to appointment by telephone.

Salary : dependent on experience, but up to £40,000 per person, per annum.

Accommodation : Modern 4 bedroom detached cottage on the estate (a few minutes' walk from main residence) with private access, a garage, and garden. All bills paid for (bar food) including rates, internet, council tax. A small dog will be considered. No cats please.

Days and Hours of Work : Monday-Friday, 8.00am-5.00pm. Flexibility to work occasional weekend when required.
