We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Transport Planner / Clerk to join our client on a Temp to Perm basis. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment, is confident using Excel, and enjoys the challenge of route planning and coordination.Key Responsibilities :

• Plan delivery routes from start to finish, ensuring efficiency and timeliness
• Create and manage driver manifests
• Book agency drivers and staff as required
• Schedule and confirm store deliveries
• Liaise with drivers, agencies, and store managers to ensure smooth daily operations
• Monitor and amend routes where needed to accommodate delays or last-minute changes
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with company processesWhat We’re Looking For :
• Strong organisational and planning skills
• Confident using Excel and other basic IT tools
• Comfortable working with maps and route planning software
• Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
• Able to work independently and under pressure
