English Academic Coach
Are you a graduate with an English related degree, looking to gain experience supporting English students through the KS3 and KS4 curriculum?
- English Academic Coach
- 80 - £90 per day
- January 2025 – July 2025
- Outstanding’ secondary school, Walsall
- 1 : 1 and small intervention support in English
Are you a graduate with a degree in English or a related subject, eager to gain hands-on experience supporting students in KS3 and KS4 English?
An ‘Outstanding’ secondary school in Walsall is seeking an enthusiastic English Academic Coach to join their team from January 2025 until July 2025. This is an excellent opportunity to support students in their academic journeys while building valuable experience in a classroom setting.
As an English Academic Coach, you will work closely with students on a one-to-one basis and in small group sessions. Your role will involve helping to build their confidence, addressing learning gaps, and improving their understanding of key topics within the KS3 and KS4 English curriculum.
You will also collaborate with teachers to tailor learning strategies that meet the individual needs of students, ensuring they make progress and achieve their full potential. The school offers a supportive and inspiring environment, making it the perfect place to develop your skills and gain insight into the education sector.
The ideal candidate will be a graduate with a degree in English or a related field and a genuine passion for education. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as is a willingness to inspire and support students. While prior experience working with young people is desirable, it is not essential, as enthusiasm and a proactive attitude are highly valued.
This role is particularly suited to those considering a career in teaching or seeking experience before undertaking teacher training. The position offers a daily rate of £80 to £90 and runs from January 2025 to July 2025.
If you are ready to make a real difference to students’ academic success, apply now and take the first step in your education career.
