Ensuring inspection, maintenance and repair tasks are completed in a timely manner.
Ensuring all work tasks are completed in a safe and professional manner.
Conducting repairs on tram stops, including tactile paving, blockwork, pedestrian crossings and tram stop furniture.
Maintaining and repairing drainage systems on and off track.
Painting and maintaining MML-owned structures.
Ensuring trackside vegetation remains outside determined hazard zones.
Assisting in the testing and commissioning of new systems.
Supporting the switching of electrical substations.
Assisting with other disciplines within the infrastructure department.
Working night shifts for maintenance and repair work as required by MML management.
On-call duties.In order to be successful in this role you must have / be :
Previous working knowledge and experience within landscaping and construction.
Previous experience in a relevant maintenance environment, ideally within civil infrastructure.
Experience in adhering to safety protocols and procedures in previous roles.
A GCSE Maths and English Grade C / 4 or above, or equivalent.
Recognised building and landscaping qualifications.
Excellent interpersonal skills, able to communicate effectively both written and verbal.
