About Our Client
Our client is a boutique, design-led group offering integrated architecture, bespoke kitchens, interiors, furniture design, specialist joinery, and full design and build project delivery.
Their structure combines architectural practice, interior architecture, high-end kitchen design, furniture and joinery manufacturing, and construction execution under one cohesive model.
Operating from their Chester-based studio and workshops, they deliver high-quality bespoke projects across the residential and specialist sectors, from individual kitchens and interiors to full property extensions and refurbishments.
Their environment is close-knit, professional, and highly collaborative, blending creativity with technical excellence at every stage of design and delivery.
The Opportunity
Our client is seeking a Design and Projects Associate, a talented and motivated individual to join their design and build studio in a hybrid role that bridges architectural design, bespoke kitchens and interiors, furniture design, technical drawing, visualisation, and light project coordination.
This is a rare opportunity to be part of a truly integrated practice where your work will span concept design, technical detailing, client interaction, and active project delivery on bespoke, high-quality commissions.
Key Responsibilities :
- Produce detailed architectural and construction drawings using Revit and AutoCAD (essential).
- Design bespoke fitted and freestanding furniture across kitchens, wardrobes, media walls, and home offices using SketchUp (essential).
- Create visualisations and presentation material using Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Lightroom, InDesign is desirable; training provided).
- Assist with kitchen layouts, room designs, and space planning using Winner software (desirable; training provided).
- Produce visual renderings using Lumion (desirable; training provided).
- Conduct accurate site surveys and translate measurements into technical drawings.
- Attend client meetings and project sites, representing the studio with professionalism.
- Support project administration including document management, schedules, and correspondence.
- Collaborate with in-house teams across joinery, kitchens, interiors, and construction to ensure seamless project progression.
- Gain exposure to contract documentation and project management processes (training provided).
