Job Description :
We are currently seeking a motivated and knowledgeableJunior to Intermediate Quantity Surveyor with expertise in groundwork's to joinour team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our projects,ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency throughout the construction process.
Key Responsibilities :
Conducting quantity surveying duties related to groundwork'sprojects.
Estimating and tendering for projects, ensuring accuracy andcompetitiveness.
Monitoring project costs and providing regular reports tomanagement.
Liaising with subcontractors and suppliers to negotiatefavorable terms.
Assisting in the preparation of project budgets and costforecasts.
Providing support to the project team as required.
Ensuring compliance with relevant health and safetyregulations.
Contributing to the continuous improvement of processes andprocedures.
Requirements :
Previous experience in quantity surveying, with a focus ongroundwork's.
Knowledge of NEC contracts and relevant regulations.
Strong numerical and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant surveyingsoftware.
Full UK driving license.
Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying orrelated field.
