An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Design and Technology Teacher (Textiles) to join a prestigious grammar school in Warwickshire. Role Responsibilities
As a skilled Design and Technology Teacher (Textiles) you will :
Teach across Key Stages 3 to 5 delivering highquality challenging and inspiring lessons in textiles.
Lead the development of curriculum content and assessment strategies for textilesbased projects.
Promote practical skillsbased learning alongside conceptual and theoretical understanding.
Support students in producing ambitious and creative design work including GCSE and ALevel coursework.
Collaborate with other Design and Technology Teachers (Textiles) to drive excellence within the department.
Stay up to date with developments in the field of textiles and design education sharing expertise with the wider team.
Contribute to wholeschool initiatives and enrichment activities linked to the arts fashion and sustainability.

We are looking for an experienced Design and Technology Teacher (Textiles) who :
Holds QTS and a degree in Textiles Fashion Design or a related discipline.
Has proven success in delivering textiles at GCSE and ALevel with excellent student outcomes.
Possesses strong subject knowledge and a commitment to outstanding classroom practice.
Is proactive reflective and passionate about the evolving role of a Design and Technology Teacher (Textiles) .
Is confident working independently and collaboratively to contribute to departmental growth.
