Section Engineer£375 – £425 per dayLocation : Wanlip, LeicesterDuration : 6 month contract +We have a fantastic opportunity working with a Tier 1 contractor on a contract basis. They are requiring a Section Engineer on a large UKs project. Responsibilities for the Section Engineer : Ensure all permits ready for site work to commenceEnsure the Inspection and Test Plans, and Quality Check Sheets are completed as soon as the checks can be completedSetting out and surveyingManaging subcontractorsManage distribution of informationWrite and Approve method statements and risk assessments and ensure they are being followed throughout the worksLiaising with the client and other key stakeholdersChecking design drawings and reporting any issues or inconsistenciesLiaise with other Sections to ensure a smooth flow of work.Regularly review procedures to ensure they are as efficient as possible.Requirements for the Section Engineer : Degree educated in a civil engineering discipline, or equivalent experiencePrevious heavy civil project experienceExperience in ducting, drainage, earthworks works is essentialPrevious waste water experience is beneficialIf this Section Engineer position is of interest to you, please apply with an updated copy of your CV.“VGC Personnel are acting as a recruitment agency in relation to this vacancy...
