Dual Registered Residential Childrens Home Manager | West Midlands (2 locations within this area) | Full Time | £50,000 - £60,000 (based on experience and qualifications), with an OTE of up to £70,000Our client creates nurturing havens for children and young people, fostering a secure and supportive environment.They are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dual Registered Residential Childrens Home Manager to oversee the management of two solo residential childrens homes based in Wednesbury and Wolverhampton. These homes specialise in supporting the needs of EBD young people and require a compassionate leader who can drive quality care, manage staff effectively, and maintain the highest standards of service delivery.Are you the right person for the job?A full, clean drivers license
Proven experience as a Registered Manager or an acting Home Manager, typically in the absence of a permanent Manager in a childrens home. Must have experience of Achieving Good or above with OFSTED during inspections.At least two years of experience working in children's or young people's residential care within the past five yearsExperience working with young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and a strong understanding of therapeutic strategiesSolid working knowledge of relevant Looked After Children (LAC) proceduresThe Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or equivalent, or currently working towards this qualification
