About the Role
Norse Care is offering an opportunity for a Registered Manager to work collaboratively in Sydney House.
Sydney House is our care home in the North Norfolk village of Stalham. We provide dedicated care and support to up to 40 people at the home
Registered Managers are supported by their Deputy Manager, Care Lead and Business Administrator, will be responsible for a floor within the building and the team operating across that floor, working in successful collaboration and partnership with the other Registered Manager to ensure high quality care is delivered across the entire home. Throughout your induction period, you will be fully supported by the current manager to ensure a smooth transition.
As part of this new, innovative management structure, you will lead your team successfully to deliver high quality care to residents, collaboratively sharing responsibilities and working together to ensure the delivery of outstanding care, and a thriving, supportive community for residents, families, and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Working closely with Management Teams to define and implement the strategic development plan ensuring that all staff deliver a quality service and uphold our values, aiming to achieve an outstanding CQC rating
- Ensuring each resident / tenant is provided with a person-centred care plan that is effectively implemented and regularly updated as care needs change / develop
- Managing all Establishment staff including, inductions, probations, appraisals and disciplinaries to ensure good performance and positive culture, including identifying training needs as required
- Complying with the Health and Social Care Act , CQC legislation and Norse Care policies and procedures
- Developing opportunities for improving the standard of care, by encouraging engagement from relatives, friends and local community, proactively using feedback to enhance services
What are we looking for from you?
Our ideal candidate will have significant experience working as a Deputy Manager or Registered Manager within a Social Care setting, with a track record of achieving good or outstanding results for CQC inspections.
