We are proud to be supporting our fantastic Manufacturing client with the recruit of an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join their finance team. The ideal candidate will have proven Payroll experience, strong Excel skills, and proficiency in using time and attendance systems.As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for managing Payroll processes' and supporting HR functions. This role requires a self-starter who can work independently and contribute to continuous improvements within the department.Our client is a leading company in the Manufacturing industry who pride themselves on fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment where employees can thrive and develop their skills.Role : Part time Payroll OfficerSalary : £30,000 - £35,000 FTELocation : Wakefield, WF1 with free onsite parkingHours : Part time, 24 hours per week, with Mondays being a core dayKey Responsibilities : Manage monthly payroll processes and ensure accurate, timely payments for 150 employees.Handle tax deductions, report RTI for PAYE accounts, and process P11D's annually.Enrol employees into the pension scheme and manage monthly uploads.Liaise with payroll systems (Opera and Computime) and implement necessary upgrades.Set up monthly payroll and HMRC payments on the bank.Manage holiday entitlement and annual rollover on Computime.Ensure Computime time and attendance is fully utiliz...
