Materials Planner

to join our blue-chip client at their premises in Uttoxeter. This 12-month fixed-term contract involves planning and expediting parts to meet market demands while managing a complex supply chain.

Key Responsibilities : Ensure continuity of supply of parts for aftermarket operations.Plan and expedite materials from the supply base in line with system requirements.Apply lean inventory management practices.Drive continuous improvement and pro-active supplier reviews.Identify and implement process improvement initiatives.Expedite materials promptly to meet operational needs.The Ideal Candidate : Experience in a similar role is preferred, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.Demonstrates excellent attention to detail and multi-tasking abilities.Highly proficient with Excel, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.Possesses strong organisational skills and thrives under pressure.Has an analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.What We Offer : Competitive hourly pay of £18.46.33 days annual leave.Day shifts for work-life balance.Free on-site parking.Apply now to secure this fantastic opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and professional team!
