We are delighted to be working closely with a leading care home who are looking to appoint a Deputy Manager for their ursing home local to Reading, Berkshire. Our client is looking for qualified candidates who will be an asset to their nursing team and promote an atmosphere which enables residents to live as independently as possible. Details Role : Deputy Manager (RGN) Hours : Full time Shifts : Days Salary £65k per annum (based on 40 hours per week)The Company My client currently operates a small number of care homes, providing leading services in residential care and the development of specialist services for residents with higher dependency needs. They are looking for a professional, creative and energetic Nursing staff to join their friendly and passionate teams who all work towards the same goals.Key Responsibilities The Deputy Manager is responsible for ensuring a high level of clinical care and governance is provided to residents, meeting all statutory and regulatory requirements and leading the clinical team, providing strong clinical knowledge, leadership and management to ensure the highest standards are achieved in all areas of the home including relationship centered care, clinical care and dementia care.Delivering hands on care, safe drug administration and accurate record keeping.You will also develop individualised care plans ensuring the physical, emotional and social needs of our Client's service users are met.You will ensure service users receive care that promotes choice, dignity and respect.You would also be involved in building close relationships with healthcare professionals in the local community.Most importantly, you will be given the time to get to know our client's residents, and their families, enabling you to deliver a truly personalised model of care.Overseeing the care & clinical teams – working very closely with an experienced and clinically trained home manager.Experience RequiredValid NMC PIN2 years' Senior Nurse / Clinical Lead / Deputy Manager experienceUpdate DBS check / willing to undergo a DBS checkExperience of taking accountability for completing person centred care plans accurately and clearlyWorking to the standards set by the Regulators and by external bodiesExperience of proactively conducting and managing Residents’ reviews taking account of the Resident or their Representatives’ needs and wishesAdditional BenefitsGenerous holiday allowanceContinuous development opportunities, inc company sponsorship for professional and academic qualificationsSupport you in planning for your future with our occupational pension schemeFree life assurance policy If you are interested please apply.
