Hourly Rate : £14.45 - £15.20 (dependent on experience)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1 : 1 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive school in Totnes. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with a student, providing tailored support to help them reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide one-to-one support for a student with additional needs, ensuring their learning and emotional well-being are prioritised.
- Assist the class teacher in implementing individual learning plans and adapting resources to meet the student's needs.
- Promote a positive and nurturing environment that encourages engagement and independence.
- Build a strong, trusting relationship with the student, fostering confidence and motivation.
- Monitor and report on the student’s progress to teachers and other relevant staff.
