Our successful privately owned client is expanding. They are looking for two LGV Cat C / HGV Class 2 drivers with HIAB.

Currently based in the EX5 area but moving to a purpose built site in the EX16 area later this year.

Our client is an international market leader in excavation support systems. They design and manufacture modular steel trench and sheet piles. These are delivered on flatbed vehicles fitted with lorry mounted cranes. The yard operatives load the vehicles.

The role is Monday to Friday with an occasional Saturday. Contracted to 40 hours per week, with start times varying between 6.00 am and 8.00 am ( depending on delivery location ). 22 days holiday per annum plus bank holidays.

The hourly rate is £15.00 per hour plus holiday pay of £1.81 per hour totalling £16.81 per hour on PAYE advanced. Other PAYE models available.

For insurance purposes you will need to be over 25 years old, have a minimum 6 months LGV Cat C / HGV Class 2 commercial driving experience and no more than 3 penalty points ( speeding or mobile phone only ). You will need a valid HIAB licence ideally with a minimum 3 months practical experience.

These are specialised roles which need candidates who demonstrate compliant attitudes towards health and safety. This is a customer facing role. Excellent standards of customer service are required.
