Contract Type : Permanent (Full-Time)

Shift patterns : Any 5 from 7 days (earlies)

Customer Contract : Primark

Location : Thrapston, NN14 4QT

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative to play a vital role coordinating our daily warehouse and distribution requirements.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will :

Role Purpose :

Undertake the manual handling, distribution and monitoring of materials in a bulk storage and warehouse environment.
To carry out warehouse tasks as directed.
Adhering to company, customer and legislative requirements
To work in all areas of the warehouse, achieving the required standards, productivities and ensuring company policy and procedures are adhered to.

Requirements :

Previous practical experience as a Warehouse Operative, within a logistics environment or similar role and be familiar with all Manual Handling Procedures

Previous experience of the preparation and distribution of volume orders

Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage your own workload

A recognised qualification in Manual Handling or equivalent will be well-received.
